Citywide Family Council Kickoff - Wednesday October 26, 2018

Thank you to those who attended the Citywide Family Council Kickoff & Chop Dinner at the Lowell Senior Center to create positive change for Lowell Public Schools!

A special thank you to Shaun McCarthy and Working Cities for co-hosting this event and Acting Superintendent Jeannine Durkin for welcoming our parents and families. The purpose of the Citywide Family Council (CFC) is to help identify priorities and focus on a range of LPS district priorities to boost student engagement and to increase student achievement. At the kickoff we shared an overview of the Your Voice Matters initiative and gave families and community members a chance to provide feedback about the issues and advocacy opportunities that they think will be important for this new citywide group.

Join us for the next Citywide Family Council meeting on Thursday October 25th at 5:30pm. Register today!
