Making an Impact
Throughout the fall of 2017, community members, parents, teachers, school administrators and students met in a series of Community Circles around issues in education in Lowell. In December 2017, the Community Circle participants and the greater Lowell community gathered in the first Your Voice Matters Community Action Forum. Attendees worked together to identify priority action items in 5 themes that came out of the Community Circles. The Action Groups are meeting in January and February of 2018 to begin the process of planning/implementation on their priorities. Check out the overview presentation (including a sample snapshot of some of the Circle Feedback) and learn about the 5 themes here.
